A new edition of the "Blind date with a book” was held at the secondary school library in February 2024.
The event is an optional activity which is fun for avid readers and appealing for reluctant readers.
The selected books are wrapped and include a short feedback form that the reader fills in before returning the book. It is a great opportunity to learn about the students' reading preferences!
The procedure is simple: pick a book - check it out - read it
If it is true that a book shouldn't be judged by its cover, then, this is a fun and great opportunity for the students to step out of their comfort zone and learn something about themselves in terms of open mindedness, curiosity, and being risk takers.
